National Highways operates, maintains and improves England’s motorways and major A roads.
This post is to let you know we’ll be carrying out general maintenance on this stretch of road. Works will include pot hole repair, drain maintenance, vegetation clearance, sign repair and survey works. We’ll be carrying out multiple tasks at various locations and where possible we’ll complete noisiest works before 11pm.
Access for residents will be maintained but may involve a short delay depending on our stage of work. Please show a copy of the postcard you should have received to our gatemen who will escort you through the works if necessary. Access to service stations will be maintained via local roads. Please accept our apologies in advance for any disruption which may be caused.
For the safety of our workforce the A303 between Deptford and Longbarrow roundabouts will be closed from 8pm in the evening to 4am the following morning. Locally signed diversions will be in place for through traffic.
We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.
