The water level in the Tilshead borehole continues to rise at a slow, but steady, rate. In fact, levels are some 8 metres below the 4 year average for this time of year.
A little rain is forecast for the early part of next week, but dryer weather seems set to return towards the end of January. Weather at the start of February in the south looks a little unclear at present. No sudden increase in the flood risk is anticipated.
