Planting Trees to Commemorate the End of WW1 – Can You Help?

The aim of this project is to deliver a legacy to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War. We are inviting local communities to plant trees across the county and want to encourage schools, community groups and organisations to participate in the initiative.

Whilst 10,000 soldiers from Wiltshire lost their lives during the war, many more came home and carried on with their lives. The aim is to create a legacy to remember everyone that served during the war and plant as many trees as possible.

We now need to gather information on the number of trees we need and where they will be planted.

Below is a presentation and a project overview.
