This is the first bulletin of the 2017-2018 season. Water levels in the Tilshead borehole are very low (arrowed) and over the last week have actually fallen by 30mm. There has been a little rain and we are already close to the levels for the whole of December 2013-14.
There is quite a lot of sleet, snow and rain in the forecast for the next few days. More is forecast between now and the start of January. All in all a typical December forecast and no indication that there is likely to be an atypical amount of rain.
