Well, it seems as if the winter rain has finally arrived, although the totals for January, at 60mm, were a little lower than the 189mm we had back in 2013-14 or even the 94mm we had last year. The levels in the borehole are just starting to head upwards, but only very slightly.
The weather forecast for the weekend is for a little more rain today, with a fine day on Saturday and perhaps a drop or two more rain on Sunday and Monday. We seem likely to have some rain up until the middle of the month when a drier and colder spell might kick in.
