With just a smattering of rain and some heavy mists during the week, current borehole levels remain towards the low end of average for the last 4 years. All very encouraging.
There is some rain in the short term forecasts, but the rest of January MAY be a bit drier than in recent years. Whilst that is great for flooding, it may not help the summer aquifer levels. What you are given with one hand, may be taken away with the other!
