Tilshead Borehole Levels: 24th March 2017

We’ve had a surprising volume of rain over the last week, already making March 2017 the second wettest since we have been monitoring the water levels in the Tilshead borehole during the winter.   We are now going into the final week of monitoring with the last scheduled report being issued next Friday.  As you can see, the levels have continued to rise but we are still 9 metres away from the trigger level for flooding.

There may be a little rain today, with a few showers on Tuesday.  In the longer term, the prediction of a dry start to April remains.
