Our apologies to the parents of under-12s, and more so to the under-12s themselves, for the slow speed of repairs to the damaged equipment in the village play park. Unfortunately, even though some of the damage does not look too bad, these are not the sort of repairs that are amenable to DIY and require the use of specific components to meet with the relevant safety legislation, etc. Consequently, the original manufacturers of the equipment are being brought in to repair it and to give it a general overhaul and MoT; this has all taken time and much longer than we had hoped.
We understand that they will be on-site on 11th November to undertake the work and so the play-park will be out of action whilst the repairs are made.
